TASECO Group implements the charity program "Joining hands to contribute love" in Ha Giang province

On September 9, 2023, Taseco Group Joint Stock Company implemented the program "Joining hands to contribute love" to support equipment and teaching and learning materials for Minh Ngoc Kindergarten and schools in Minh Ngoc commune, Bac Me district, Ha Giang province, led by Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy, Chairman of Taseco Group's Trade Union. This is one of Taseco Group's annual volunteer activities to share difficulties with teachers and encourage the spirit of students in mountainous areas.

Minh Ngoc commune has remote schools with steep and winding terrain, only a few wooden houses, simple corrugated iron roofs and very poor teaching equipment. Most of the students here are ethnic minorities, from poor families, they have to face many difficulties in studying and living. Teachers shared that most of their houses are far from school, so when it rains heavily or there is a landslide, they cannot go to school.

When we went directly to the schools, we could not help but be moved by the contrast with the difficult circumstances, the children were innocent and mischievous, with bright smiles, their parents happily came early and we were extremely impressed with the enthusiasm and dedication to the profession of "growing people" of the teachers here.

In this program, Taseco Group donated 03 sets of speakers, 160 sets of desks and chairs, 311 new school bags, 311 winter coats, 08 sets of shelves for toys and learning tools, 01 set of outdoor playground, support for extending 01 power line to the school, candy and cash with a total value of more than 200 million VND to Minh Ngoc Kindergarten and schools in Lung Lau, Lung Cang, Kim Thach, Khau Lua, Khuoi Lung and Lung Hao villages.

With the spirit of “Joining hands to contribute love”, Taseco wishes to contribute to the development of education and improve the quality of life for the people of Minh Ngoc commune, Bac Me district, Ha Giang province. Taseco Group will continue to implement many similar activities in the future, to join hands to support and contribute to the dreams of disadvantaged children across the country.
