Taseco Group sponsors 2021 Health Insurance cards for the poor in Van Yen District, Yen Bai Province

On January 30, 2021, Taseco Group Joint Stock Company (Taseco Group) coordinated with BIDV Transaction Office Branch 1 and the People's Committee of Van Yen District, Yen Bai Province to organize a program to give Tet gifts and 300 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in the district. The total amount of support from Taseco Group is nearly 250 million VND.

Taseco Group hopes to help people who cannot afford to buy health insurance cards so that they have the opportunity to enjoy medical benefits when they are unfortunately sick or have an accident.

Van Yen is a mountainous district with 24 communes, 01 town, population of 125,743 people including 12 ethnic groups: Kinh, Tay, Dao, Mong and some other ethnic groups; socio-economic development has had many steps. However, people's lives still face many difficulties, especially ethnic minorities in remote communes and villages. In the district, there are currently more than 4,000 social protection beneficiaries receiving monthly social allowances; there are more than 8,000 people with revolutionary contributions; the number of poor and near-poor households is nearly 5,000 households.

Sharing and sympathizing with the difficulties of the local people, Taseco Group and BIDV Transaction Office 1 joined hands to support the People's Committee of Van Yen district, contributing to health care for the poor and people in difficult circumstances, bringing joy to the people before the New Year./.
