Returning to Son La - Emotional charity event

After launching a fundraising campaign to support disadvantaged people in Son La province, the Trade Union in collaboration with the Youth Union of Thang Long Aviation Services Joint Stock Company (TASECO) called for donations of nearly 190 million VND in cash. The donations were contributed by the company's officers, employees, partners and customers. In addition, the Board of Directors of TASECO also decided to give 500 more gifts, each consisting of 10 kg of rice and 500,000 VND to families in really difficult circumstances in Son La province.

4:00 a.m., the beloved blue shirts gathered to depart for Son La.

From September 7 to 9, 2017, a volunteer group of 22 TASECO officers and employees went to Son La to hand-deliver gifts to support people in difficult circumstances.

The first stop of the delegation was in Muong La district, where the fierce flood had just disappeared about a month ago and taken away most of the property of the people living there. Passing through the bumpy road with only cobblestones left, the delegation gave 500 warm clothes to the children and teenagers of the Boarding House, Nam Pam Primary School and two cash gifts.

500 warm coats were given to children before the harsh cold of the highlands could hit.

The volunteer group continued to move to Nam Pam village, where people suffered the most damage after the recent flash flood. The people's property, food and clothing were almost completely swept away by the flood water. 100 gifts including cash and 10 kg of rice were appreciated and enthusiastically received by the people.

The TASECO green shirt not only wants to bring a source of livelihood, but also hopes to bring some spiritual encouragement to people to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Before the sun set, the volunteer group quickly moved to another commune that was no less difficult and arduous. That was It Ong commune, one of the communes with many ethnic minorities in Muong La district. Here, 100 gifts of rice and cash were also given to the people.

People of It Ong commune, Muong La district happily received gifts of support.

On the morning of September 8, the TASECO volunteer group departed from Son La city, traveling over 150 km of winding and tortuous mountain passes to reach the people of Pung Banh border commune, Sop Cop district. 300 gifts of rice and cash were brought to share with the deprived lives of the ethnic people here.

The muddy roads of Sop Cop land after the rains still cannot stop the spirit of "helping each other", sharing love of the green TASECO shirt to the local people.
