Quang Ngai is one of the localities that has suffered severe consequences from bomb and mine pollution. According to statistics, over 20% of the province's natural land area is contaminated with more than 17,500 tons of bombs remaining underground, in lakes, and along the coast. Since 1975, the province has had thousands of victims of post-war bomb and mine accidents. Most of the victims are the main breadwinners who have become a burden to their families and relatives; therefore, they need the community and society to share with them to have more motivation to overcome the pain and loss and continue to live a useful life.
