TASECO Land starts construction of industrial park worth over 2,300 billion VND in Ha Nam

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province said that Ha Nam province has identified one of the key tasks of the province's socio-economic development plan for the period 2021-2030 as focusing on developing industrial parks and high-tech parks to realize the vision of soon turning Ha Nam into an industrial center of the Red River Delta region.

Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Nam Province spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony.

Up to now, the total number of industrial parks in the province that have been approved for investment is 10 industrial parks with a total area of 2,982.35 hectares. The industrial parks are planned and built with technical infrastructure, electricity, water, wastewater treatment, housing infrastructure, especially housing for workers and low-income people, which have been and are being invested in by the province. In addition, the province also directs localities and functional branches to allocate land funds and budgets to build schools, medical stations, hospitals, and entertainment areas to serve the children of workers as well as local people.

According to Mr. Huy, on November 29, 2023, the People's Committee of Ha Nam province held a conference to grant the Investment Registration Certificate for the project of Investment in construction and business of infrastructure of Dong Van 3 supporting industrial park, East of Cau Gie - Ninh Binh highway to the Investor, Taseco Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company, a member of Taseco Group. Up to now, in less than 9 months, the Investor has resolutely implemented and closely coordinated with Ha Nam province to solve a huge amount of work, many of which are very difficult such as site clearance, procedures and processes on construction, land, environment... to officially start the project "Investment in construction and business of infrastructure of Dong Van 3 supporting industrial park, East of Cau Gie - Ninh Binh highway"; one of the large projects, with a spillover effect contributing to the socio-economic development of Ha Nam province, with a total investment capital of more than 2,300 billion VND. This is a testament to the determination and successful cooperation between Taseco Group in particular and investors in general with Ha Nam province.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Taseco Group, spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony. On the investor side, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Taseco Group, said that the project "Investment in construction and business of infrastructure of Taseco Dong Van 3 Industrial Park" has a land use scale of 223 hectares; total investment capital of more than 2,300 billion VND is implemented in the wards: Yen Bac, Tien Noi, Hoa Mac and the communes of Tien Ngoai, Yen Nam, Duy Tien town, Ha Nam province.

Immediately after receiving the Investment Certificate, Taseco Land started implementing the project. To date, Taseco Land has completed the construction permit, the EIA report, and the fire prevention and fighting permit. In particular, the project has completed most of the site clearance work, reaching more than 200/223ha and has been allocated land in the first phase by the People's Committee of Ha Nam province with an area of 128.05ha.

“Immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, we will carry out the construction of technical infrastructure and plan to hand over the first phase of land, about 100 hectares, to investors to build the factory in the first quarter of 2025. Phase 2 and Phase 3 will be completed and handed over to investors by the end of 2025,” Mr. Hai emphasized.

Taseco Land signed with two strategic partners Sojitz Group and Indochina Capital to promote investment in Taseco Dong Van 3 industrial park.

It is known that Taseco Dong Van 3 Industrial Park Project has convenient traffic, located next to the main roads of National Highway 1A, National Highway 38, and is expected to connect with Ring Roads 4 and 5 in the future. Along with the local commitment to deploy from the end of 2024 on expanding National Highway 38 from Vuc Vong intersection, 99m route connecting Duy Tien Town center to Taseco Dong Van 3, Dong Van 5, Dong Van 6 Industrial Parks; Taseco Land also prioritizes investing in a separate route with a cross-section of 69m wide from National Highway 38 through Duy Tien Urban Area from this time to ensure convenient traffic for customers building and investing in factories in the Industrial Park.

In addition, adjacent to Taseco Dong Van 3 Industrial Park is Duy Tien Urban Area with an area of 328ha, including a planned housing area for workers with an area of 4ha including 7 high-rise buildings. The urban area is planned synchronously and fully equipped, contributing to building a modern living community, meeting all the needs of experts as well as attracting workers from neighboring areas to live and work stably in the locality. To the south of Taseco Dong Van 3 Industrial Park are Dong Van 5 and 6 Industrial Parks, which are expected to be a new key industrial area after completion and operation, attracting the largest investment in Ha Nam province in the coming years.

Regarding financial resources, Mr. Hai said that the Company has fully implemented its own capital in accordance with regulations and has signed a credit contract with 2 major banks to finance capital throughout the compensation and site clearance phase to the infrastructure construction process. "Thus, we are completely ready and proactive in meeting the capital source for payment for construction investment activities, ensuring the completion of the project on schedule as committed" - Mr. Hai affirmed.

The Taseco Dong Van 3 Industrial Park Project is not only an important step forward in the development of the regional economy and infrastructure, but also demonstrates Taseco Land's efforts and commitment to comply with legal regulations on investment, construction, and land. The project, once operational, will create thousands of jobs and is expected to make a significant contribution to the local budget each year.

The project also demonstrates Taseco Land's commitment to environmental protection through cooperation with foreign partners with many years of experience in the field of industrial park management and operation to gradually build a green, modern, environmentally friendly industrial park with good service quality to meet the increasing demands of investors.

The investor donated 1 billion VND to the local social security fund.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province requested the investor to implement the project on schedule, ensure the quality of the project, put the project into operation soon, creating an important driving force to promote local economic development.

The provincial specialized departments and branches shall proactively inspect, guide and coordinate with the investor, construction contractor, and supervision consultant to implement the project; support and create all favorable conditions to implement the project on schedule, with approved technical quality, and promptly complete and put the project into effective exploitation and use.
