Taseco Airs held a preliminary review of activities in the first 6 months of 2018

On July 27, 2018 in Hanoi, Taseco Air Services Joint Stock Company (Taseco Airs) held a conference to review business activities in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks and plans for the last 6 months of 2018.

Attending the conference were Mr. Pham Ngoc Thanh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai - Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Anh Quoc - General Director of the Company, along with members of the Board of Directors of the Company and its member units, managers, representatives of the Company's mass organizations and employees. In particular, this conference also had the participation of representatives of the PENM IV Germany GmbH & Co. KG fund - a shareholder holding 10% of Taseco Airs' capital.

In the context of the non-aviation service industry business situation in the first 6 months of the year with many opportunities but also many challenges, the Board of Directors and all employees of the Company and its member units have focused on implementing the planned tasks right from the beginning of the year with great efforts, creativity, innovation and determination to achieve the set goals and plans. As a result, in the first 6 months of the year, the Company has successfully completed the planned tasks, with consolidated revenue reaching 101% of the plan and consolidated profit exceeding the plan by 16% of the period; and achieved 46% of the revenue plan, 51% of the consolidated profit plan for the whole year of 2018, respectively.

The interim report presented by Mr. Le Anh Quoc - General Director of the Company also stated: the business results in the first 6 months of 2018 had impressive growth, revenue increased by 39% and profit after tax of the service sector alone increased by 38% compared to the same period in 2017. This is the initial success of the year and also an important premise for the completion of the Company's 2018 plan.

At the conference, many delegates presented papers to enrich the content of the report. Along with that, the delegates also focused on the issues that Taseco Airs, its member units and associated units are interested in, including proposals and recommendations on valuable solutions that are very meaningful for the implementation of business activities in the last months of the year.

Taking place within the framework of the conference, the Board of Directors of Taseco Airs Company announced and awarded the decision to appoint Mr. Vu Minh Tuan to the position of Deputy General Director of Taseco Airs Company to supplement management and operation capacity and strengthen the connection between the parent company and its member units.

As the highest leader of the Company, Mr. Pham Ngoc Thanh - Chairman of the Board of Directors - praised the efforts, endeavors and bravery of the leadership and staff of Taseco Airs. The rapid growth and maturity of the Board of Directors and the staff of the units are the factors and motivations that have brought Taseco Airs to today's successes. The Chairman of the Board of Directors pointed out the limitations that need to be overcome soon so that the entire Taseco Airs system can soon be completed and operate professionally and effectively. At the same time, Mr. Pham Ngoc Thanh also requested the Board of Directors and the Management Board of the units to innovate in thinking and working, proactively and effectively manage, closely follow market developments and business goals to successfully complete the tasks of the plan for the last 6 months of the year and the whole year of 2018.
