ICON4: Increased charter capital to 640 billion, announced new strategic vision

2021 is the year the Company continues to strongly restructure, rearrange all departments, rearrange personnel and focus business activities on two core areas: construction and development of real estate projects. Therefore, the business results in 2021 are still modest but have achieved the set plan. Specifically, ICON4's revenue for the whole year of 2021 reached more than 163 billion VND and profit after tax reached 24.7 billion VND, both exceeding the plan and implementation in 2020. In parallel with the restructuring of business activities, ICON4 has achieved good financial indicators such as low bank debt, timely collection and payment of the state budget in accordance with regulations.

With the results achieved in 2021, at the General Meeting of Shareholders, the Board of Directors of ICON4 presented the 2022 business plan with impressive figures: expected revenue of over 1,000 billion VND and pre-tax profit expected to reach 62.8 billion VND, a sharp increase compared to 2021.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Lai - who was recently elected by the General Meeting of Shareholders to join the Board of Directors and appointed by the Board of Directors to the position of General Director said: "The company will focus all resources to implement the 2022 plan. In addition, with experience and high determination, we will continue to seek to expand the market and the new strategy will focus mainly on projects where ICON4 has strengths, investors with financial potential, revenue in the following years will all achieve growth compared to the previous year."

The advantages in management and development foundation in the construction and installation sector will create momentum for the Company to continue implementing existing real estate projects such as the Trung Van - To Huu Street Housing Group Project in Nam Tu Liem District (Hanoi) with a scale of more than 5 hectares and to seek new projects in neighboring provinces such as Bac Ninh, Ha Nam, Bac Giang, Hung Yen... In addition, ICON4 also focuses on participating in research and proposing investment in rebuilding old apartment buildings and social housing in districts in Hanoi and Quang Ninh.

With the goal of focusing on the new business strategy, the General Meeting of Shareholders approved the increase of charter capital from 320 billion VND to 640 billion VND to ensure capital for business activities and investment strategies to develop strongly in the coming time. At the same time, to enhance the position and transparency in business activities, the General Meeting of Shareholders also approved the plan to transfer shares currently traded on the UPCoM trading system to be listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange. The ICON4 Board of Directors with newly elected/appointed members includes: Mr. Dao Tien Duong - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Duc Lai - General Director, Ms. Pham Thi Kieu Trang - Chief Accountant and elected Mr. Dang Huy Khoi as an independent member of the Board of Directors.
